Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions and your use of this website are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.

  • A contract between the customer and Passionate About Shoes for the sale of our products will exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched. 
  • This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
  • Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. Passionate About Shoes will endeavour, however to keep the customer informed at all times if there is likely to be any variation to the prices or delivery as advertised and should any change be made then Passionate About Shoes will comply with the customers wishes with regard to the ongoing status of the order and if necessary cancel the order should the customer require delivery of their order at a time other than that specified as the ‘standard delivery time’. The customer’s right to cancel

  • The customer may normally cancel their order (once accepted by Passionate About Shoes) for any reason up to the point of dispatch. 
  • If the customer cancels the contract within this time, any payments made by the customer will be refunded in full within 30 days (if the customer has paid by credit/debit card, it may take longer than this to show on the customer’s statement: this is out of Passionate About Shoes’ control). 

What size to order?

  • In general the customer knows what shoe size they take. Different brands vary in size slightly, so what the customer takes in one brand may not be the same for others. 
  • If when the customer is ordering they feel unsure of which size to order, please contact Passionate About Shoes (email or phone) to discuss specific requirements. Passionate About Shoes will advise as best as Passionate Shoes are able. Passionate About Shoes will then be able to assist with shoe sizing as requested and in the future.

Receiving the goods

  • Upon receiving the shoes, please try them on inside, on a carpeted surface. 
  • Make sure that you feel happy with the fit and style. 
  • If the customer is not entirely delighted with their purchase they may return the product as specified below.

Returns policy

A refund will be given (excluding postage charges) on returned items provided that:

  • They are new, unworn, unused, with no damage or marks on them and in the same condition as sent to the customer. (Passionate About Shoes’ opinion is final).
  • They must be returned in the original shoe box complete with any extra items sent in the box (shoe bags [if supplied], packaging, labels etc).  Please package them with the soles facing outwards, to prevent marks or damage to the upper.
  • Goods must be returned within 10 working days from receipt of goods.
  • When returning, the parcel is the customer’s responsibility until it reaches Passionate About Shoes safely. The customer must obtain a certificate of postage/proof of delivery from their postal/courier service so that the parcel can be traced. 
  • Passionate About Shoes is not responsible for return postage costs.
  • The refund will be made to the customer once the goods have been received by Passionate About Shoes and checked over. The refund will be made via the method of payment accepted at the outset.

Payment and Taxes

  • Passionate About Shoes accept online payment in a secure environment by credit/debit card. Passionate About Shoes currently accepts MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Solo and Switch.
  • Passionate About Shoes will also accept payment by credit card over the telephone.  
  • For customers in Great Britain, payments can alternatively be made by cheque (made payable to ‘Claire Treacher’).  Orders taken and made by cheque will be dispatched once payment has been cleared.
  • International customers can pay by credit card or by Swift Transfer – please email for information when wanting to pay by Swift Transfer.
  • All transactions are shown in £ sterling.
  • All delivery and taxes for shipment abroad are payable by customer.
  • Delivery charges abroad will be quoted once customer has given address and country of residence.

All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in £ sterling.  Where appropriate the prices are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. The current rate of VAT is 15%; this however can change at any time, whereupon the rate will be altered and applied to price.

Goods

  • Please be aware that colours on the products shown may vary. 
  • The sizes quoted are in English sizes, conversion can be made via the size converter on the relevant web pages. 
  • All stock is subject to availability.
  • Goods are normally dispatched within 3 working days of the order being placed (the dispatch rate will vary when the week has a public holiday or holidays within it and when the office is closed).
  • All goods remain the property of Passionate About Shoes until paid for by the customer.

Privacy

  • All information the customer gives to Passionate About Shoes is confidential and will not be shared with any other parties. 
  • From time to time Passionate About Shoes sends out information to current customers, if you do not want to receive information from Passionate About Shoes (by mail or email) please let Passionate About Shoes know and your details will be removed from the database (click here to email).
  • Passionate About Shoes’ website keeps details of customer’s cookies in order to remember them; this information is not used for any other purposes other than that of Passionate About Shoes.

Disclaimer and Limitations of liability

  • While Passionate About Shoes uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date, it does not give any warranty as to its accuracy or completeness and Passionate About Shoes will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or the results arising from the use of such information.
  • While Passionate About Shoes takes all reasonable steps to ensure a fast and reliable service, it does not guarantee the customer’s use of the website will be interruption or error free and will not be responsible for any disruption, loss of or corruption of any material in transit, or loss of or corruption of material or data when downloaded onto any computer system.
